SmartView Casting

If your screen, resolution, app icons, or font size appear too small, you can try these options:

  • Please try adjusting the text and icon size. For guidance, refer to this page.

If your phone’s kernel version is 6 or above, you can use the developer's New DeX. (otherwise, please update the firmware of your phone)

  1. Normal SmartView

  2. Newer SmartView (the Developer's New DeX)

1. Casting via SmartView

You can also use SmartView with AutoPro-X. It casts your phone's screen onto the navigation system, allowing you to use the navigation display as your phone screen. For those with smaller screens, this can be a helpful feature.

2. New DeX

It utilizes Android's desktop mode, which may offer better screen resolution for an enhanced experience.

  1. Check your phone’s compatibility.

  • If your phone’s kernel version is 6 or above, you can use the developer's New DeX. (if your phone is lower than this, please update the firmware of your Galaxy phone)

  1. Activate Developer's Mode

STEP01 Tap Build Number 7 times consecutively ▶ Enable Developer Mode

  1. Enable the option “Force Desktop Mode.”

  1. Use SmartView
